John D. Svare,
was born in Leominster, Massachusetts in 1977
and was raised in Delmar, New York. He was admitted
to the New York State Bar and U.S. District Court,
Northern District of New York in 2005. His preparatory
education was at Marist College where he received
his B.A., cum laude, in 1999. Mr. Svare's legal
education was at Albany Law School of Union University
where he received his J.D. in 2004.
While in law school,
Mr. Svare was a Lead Articles Editor for the Albany
Law Journal of Science & Technology and served
as a judicial intern for New York State Supreme
Court Justice Bernard J. Malone, Jr. and U.S.
Magistrate Judge Randolph F. Treece. Mr. Svare
was selected as a member of the law school's national
trial team and competed in two national competitions.
Mr. Svare joined
the firm in 2004 as an associate attorney. He
is a member of the New York State Bar Association,
Warren County Bar Association, Saratoga County
Bar Association and New York State Association
of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Svare serves
on the Board of Directors for the Prospect Child
& Family Center.
