Robert
S. McMillen,
was born in Yonkers, New York in 1943. He was
admitted to the New York State Bar in 1969. His
preparatory education was at the University of
Rochester where he received his B.S. in 1964.
Mr. McMillen’s
legal education was at Albany Law School of Union
University where he received his J.D. cum laude
in 1969. While in law school, Mr. McMillen was
Editor in Chief for the Albany Law Review (1968-1969),
and was selected to be a member of the Justinian
Society.
Mr. McMillen joined
the firm in 1969 and has been a principal since
1974.
Mr. McMillen is
a Member (2001-) of the New York State Board of
Law Examiners and was a Senior Law Examiner (1987-2001).
Mr. McMillen is
a member of the Warren County (Director, 1979-1981;
Treasurer, 2001-2007; Vice-President, 2007-), New York State (Member, Committee
on Professional Ethics (1990-1999, 2000-2007, Section
Memberships: Real Property Law, Business Law and
Trusts & Estates Law), and American (Section Memberships:
Real Property, Probate and Trust; Legal Education
and Admissions to the Bar) Bar Associations.
Mr. McMillen’s
practice areas are Real Estate Law, Estate Planning
and Administration, Employee Benefits Law, Corporate
and Commercial Law.
Currently, Mr.
McMillen is counsel for the Adirondack Regional
Chambers of Commerce, which he formerly served
as Director and Vice-Chairman. He is a member
of the Rotary Club of Glens Falls and formerly
served as a director and officer at the Voluntary
Action Center of the Glens Falls Area, Inc. and
the Arts and Crafts Center of Warren County, Inc.
