Stefanie DiLallo Bitter
Principal
Ms. Bitter’s practice areas are Real Property Law, Zoning & Land Use Planning, Landlord/Tenant, Municipal Law & Finance, Corporate & Commercial Law, and Environmental Law.
Ms. Bitter was born in Schenectady, New York in 1975. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001. Her preparatory education was at Hartwick College where she received her B.A. in 1997, and graduated with departmental distinction in Political Science. Ms. Bitter’s legal education was at Albany Law School of Union University where she received her J.D. cum laude in 2000. Ms. Bitter is a member of the Justinian Society.
Ms. Bitter joined the firm in 2000 as an Associate Attorney, and has been a Principal since 2008.
Ms. Bitter is a member of the Warren County, New York State Bar Association, and one of the founding members of the Adirondack Women's Bar Association. She served as the first secretary of the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association in 2004. She currently is on the Steering Committee of the Northeastern Chapter of Junior Achievement. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Adirondack Saratoga Chapter of the Red Cross. She sits on the Real Estate Committee of the Warren County Bar Association. In 2011, Ms. Bitter was named to the Board of Directors for Council Meadows, a low-income senior housing facility in Burnt Hills, New York.
In October of 2010, Ms. Bitter was recognized by The Post Star, in partnership with the Young Professionals Chapter of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, as one of their 20 under 40. The awards recipients were recognized as young professionals under the age of 40 who have shown dedication and success in their vocation, act as a role model in their career, demonstrate leadership in their business and community, and are active in the community and volunteer participation.
