Education Law

Education law refers to the collection of laws and rules governing the operation of educational systems. Our firm acts as general counsel for a community college and for a number of public school districts and Head Start providers. Our firm is also retained by other school districts in connection with a variety of education law related matters.

In representing our clients, our lawyers practicing in this area:

  • Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with teacher associations and non-teacher association units
  • Provide legal services, including acting as bond counsel, in connection with financing capital projects and vehicle acquisitions through the issuance of bonds and bond anticipation notes
