Municipal law refers to the collection of laws and rules governing the operation of municipal corporations, including counties, cities, towns and villages. Our firm acts as general counsel for a number of towns and villages and is retained by numerous other municipalities to represent them on a variety of matters.

In representing our clients, our lawyers practicing in this area:

  • Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with public employee union and non-union bargaining units
  • Provide legal services, including acting as bond counsel, in connection with financing capital projects through the issuance of bonds and bond anticipation notes
