Bartlett, Pontiff, Stewart & Rhodes, P.C. is pleased to announce that Matthew J. McAuliffe has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Matthew is a graduate of Albany Law School where he received his J.D.. While at Albany Law School, Matthew served as an elected representative in the Student Bar Association, the Chair of the Philanthropy Committee, Secretary of the Real Estate Society, Treasurer of the Business Law Society, and a Member of Albany Law Rugby. Matthew also founded the Community Garden at Albany Law School. Matthew is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Matthew was born in Gloversville and grew up in Perth, New York. His preparatory education was at Siena College in Loudonville where he received his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, in 2020.
Matthew is a member of the Warren County Bar and New York State Bar Associations and serves as a Director of the Conkling Center, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to assisting seniors in the local community. Matthew also serves on the Warren County Law Day Committee. His primary areas of practice are Civil Litigation, Municipal Law, Education Law, Estate Planning & Administration, Real Property & Land Use, and Criminal Law.
